As I mentioned at the start of this series of blog posts, (post 1 and post 2) I have decided to separate formative and summative assessment as they perform different functions. Following the school assessment policy, we will conduct summative assessments three times a year, awarding a GCSE grade (1-9) from Y7 onwards.
