This is the third post I have written concerning how I am making decisions about implementing the new GCSE Religious Studies. So far my two main concerns have been how to best prepare y8 and y9 students who need to quickly raise their level of understanding of Christianity and Islam ahead of starting the new GCSE, and how to plan a 5 year curriculum starting with y7 to take them right through to the end of y11. You can read about these here and here. This blog will focus on the first of these concerns, that is, getting current y9 students ready for the new GCSE course.
